Mr. Siddharth is a serial entrepreneur. In the year 2000, Mr. Deshmukh started his first company Ask4Host.com in Japan, a web hosting and server management company with more than five thousand customers worldwide.
In the year 2005, Siddharth founded Shimbi Computing Laboratories Pvt Ltd (Shimbi Labs), a software product engineering company. Shimbi Labs is the creator of products like Budo (website builder), Mikan (CRM), Ninjin (no code e-commerce platform), and Shimbi Invoice (cloud invoicing software) for small businesses with a subscriber from 70 countries.
In 2011, Mr. Siddharth co-founded Indo-Japan Business Council (IJBC), a bilateral chamber of commerce aimed a promoting business, trade, education, and cultural ties between India and Japan, and is current President of the organization. Under his able leadership, IJBC has reached newer heights. He is responsible for concluding multiple Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) between IJBC and various Japanese organizations, including Universities, not-for-profit organizations, and business centers. He has a vast network of Indian and Japanese business leaders and a profound understanding of Japanese business culture.
After completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical engineering, Mr. Deshmukh made his maiden visit to Japan in early 2000. He dared to start his first virtual company there in the same year. Since then, he has been relentlessly working on and out of Japanese soil and mastered the art of acquiring business in Japan.
He is a vivid reader and ignites generations of entrepreneurs and Japan enthusiasts with his thoughts and inspired writings. He spoke at various business forums and was visiting faculty at Symbiosis Institute of Management and Symbiosis International University (one of the premier business schools in India). He was an active member of NASSCOM, TiE Pune chapter, iSpirt, SaaS Bhoomi (Indian SaaS Company Founder’s Community), and other business associations. Mr. Siddharth is a marathoner and believes that a healthy mind and body are essential for a blissful life.
