I am often asked: how am I able to do so many things in a day? My answer is always the same – Get up early, and start early at the start and get to the destination on time.
I always disliked being late. Being late not only put me out of my plans, but I also find it to be incredibly disrespectful to others. I always try to reach 10 min before the time and expects the same from people I am meeting.
It doesn’t matter who you are, we all have same 24 hours in a day, and no one’s time is more important than other.
Punctuality is something that everyone should work on. I’ve made it a top priority in my life. So much so that I do whatever it takes to beat the clock.
To save time, I cut my hairs small and made my wardrobe simple.
I prefer to get up early at 5 am and finish the work which only I can do. Next, I am in office 8 am and finish my office day by 5:00 pm I take my dinner 7:30 pm before I restart my work at 9 pm. I am in bed 11 pm. I really hate to break this daily routine. Routine helps you to be punctual. Try to keep the routine as much as possible.
I’m also the big fan of stand-up meetings; they are much quicker and productive. Standing meetings allow you to get down to business quickly.
Whenever possible I use the time in transit as valuable meeting time.
Being punctual itself can save you a lot of time, and you can do so many things in same 24 hours.
